This Privacy Policy describes how Tilde Technologies and Logistics ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the WorkLogrTM product and this website.

This policy applies to:

• Clients who purchase and use the WorkLogrTM software
• Employees whose workplace computers have WorkLogrTM installed
• Staff who use the WorkLogrTM Staff Portal

2. Information We Collect

On this website: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.

WorkLogrTM software (installed on client computers): WorkLogrTM collects the following data on each computer it is installed on:

• The name of the active application (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Word)
• The title of the active window (e.g. document name or webpage title)
• The time spent actively in each application
• Text visible on the active working screen, captured periodically
• Session start and end timestamps

WorkLogrTM does NOT collect:

• Keystrokes or passwords
• Full screenshots of the desktop or background applications
• Audio, video, or camera input
• Personal files, emails, or private messages
• Browsing history or cookies

Staff Portal: Staff who log in to the WorkLogrTM Staff Portal provide their email address and password. We store this information in Firebase Authentication, which is governed by Google's privacy practices.

3. Where Data Is Stored

All activity data collected by the WorkLogrTM software is stored locally on the client's own computer. It is not transmitted to our servers unless the user actively requests an AI-generated summary, at which point a portion of the log is sent to our AI summarisation service (Groq) to generate the summary. This transmission is encrypted and not retained by the AI service after processing.

Contact form submissions are stored in our business email and CRM system. Staff Portal data is stored in Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support
• To deliver and maintain the WorkLogrTM product
• To generate AI summaries when requested by the user
• To process and track client onboarding via the Staff Portal
• To improve our products and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Employee Monitoring and Consent

WorkLogrTM is a workplace monitoring tool installed by employers on company-owned devices. We strongly recommend that businesses using WorkLogrTM:

• Inform employees that company devices are subject to monitoring
• Include a monitoring disclosure clause in employment contracts or staff handbooks
• Comply with all applicable Nigerian data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023

Tilde Technologies and Logistics is not responsible for how client organisations communicate monitoring practices to their employees.

6. Data Retention

Activity logs collected by WorkLogrTM are retained on the client's device for as long as the client chooses to keep them. Tilde Technologies does not control or access these logs. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years. Staff Portal records are retained for the duration of the business relationship.

8. Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies necessary for functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics at this time.
